OOC - SR3 Custom Firearm Creation Rules

I created these custom firearm rules for use with my games. I decided to share them, as I had a computer accident and lost the original files. Luckily, I had printed them out. So, I was able to scan them. I believe I took some ideas from someone else's custom rules and adapted them for mine. It was so long ago and I can't remember who that was, but thanks! There are some minor typos I discovered that I will remove when I get the time. You should be able to figure it out though.
All new firearms I post on my site will be made with these rules.

Shadowrunning 101

Greeting chummers, as I understand it there are a lot of green runners out there who don't know what to expect when they start running the shadows. With all those trid flicks it's hard to separate fact from fiction. Well, I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but it's not like the trid at all. I asked a close associate and long-time shadowrunner, Static, to fill all you wannabe's and greenhorns in on how to start a successful career in the shadows.

Ace 1) An expert in the field. 2) Friend, buddy, pal.

Ace of Spades Solo term for death in combat. To "draw the ace" is to die in battle. "Drawing the ace" is a short hand expression with the same meaning.

Aesthetics Simple cosmetic surgery.

AI Artificial Intelligence. A computer or network based entity, originally designed to solve complex problems, that has achieved self awareness. Usually under the control of a megacorp (q.v.), but not always (see Rogue).

Airfilm Shorthand term for an narrow air cushion train.

Alien Derogatory grounder term for someone who lives in space (a highrider).

AMF "Adios, ". Good bye. Typically derogatory.

Angel A benefactor, especially an unknown one.

AniMan, AniMen Derogatory term for a body sculpted individual who resembles an animal form.

APC An abbreviation for an Armored Personnel Carrier, eg. an Ares Citymaster, or LAV 93 "Devil Rat."

Apter Pronunciation of the acronym APTR (Augmented Program Trained Reflex). (Syn. skillsoft or reflex chip.) This type of chip provides new reflex based skills for the user.
